What people ask before they book
How long does it take to dry?
Everything we clean is dry in 7 to 10 hours. We extract as much water as the machine can pull, so nothing is left soaking, but the fibre still holds moisture. Open a window or run a fan and it goes faster.
Are your products safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use products that are safe for children and pets, and we rinse with hot water rather than leaving detergent in the fabric. Customers name this in our reviews more than anything else after the results.
Can you remove stains that have been there for years?
Often, yes. We have lifted marks that customers had written off as permanent. Some things do not come out completely, such as bleach damage, dye transfer and sun fading, because the fibre itself has changed colour. We tell you what we expect before we start, not after.
Will it smell fresh afterwards, or just smell of chemicals?
Fresh. Most odour lives in the dirt and the body oils in the fabric, so pulling those out removes the smell at the source. For pet odour we add an enzyme treatment that breaks the source down instead of covering it.
How long does a couch take?
A three-seat couch takes about an hour. A large sectional takes two to three. We do not rush the arms, the seams and the cushion sides, which is where the dirt actually sits.
Do you clean car interiors as well?
Yes. We clean fabric seats, door cards, floor mats and child car seats with the same steam equipment we use indoors. We come to your driveway, so the car does not leave you.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
Clear small items off the furniture or the floor and give us a parking space near the door. That is all. We bring our own water, power leads and machines.
